Content Partnerships

In addition to in-person and virtual wine education events, content creation and brand consulting services are available. Viva la Vino has partnered with dozens of brands to highlight newly-released wines, specific growing regions of the world, wine accessories, and wine-adjacent goods and services.

I have established a recognizable and trusted brand on social media, and my audience engages regularly with sponsored and branded content. I only accept brand partnerships with companies I believe in and trust, and those that align with my values and beliefs.

My style of wine education is fun and upbeat. On social media, I frequently share the trials and tribulations of running a business, behind-the-scenes looks at event setup and coordination, and the products I use and recommend personally. Brand partnerships must be endemic to my personal and professional brands so that my tone can remain authentic, and the story we work together to tell about your brand comes across as honest and meaningful.

Check out my engaging and unique social franchises below or set up time to connect to discuss specific social content packages to fit your brand’s goals.

Consulting

Viva la Vino has been my passion project since 2017, but long before that (and still!) my full time career is in Business Operations & Strategy. If you’re looking to streamline processes in your wine-related business, reach new audiences through social content planning, or recruit brand ambassadors to help amplify your brand, Viva la Vino can help. Whether it’s a single engagement or a long-term consulting relationship, I can craft my services to fit your needs.

Here are some of the ways Viva la Vino has helped clients:

  • Menu review and pairing suggestions

  • Event curriculum creation & hosting

  • Wine-related content development for websites, blogs, and newsletters

  • Copy writing for blogs

  • Signature cocktail concocting for special events

  • Staff training for overall wine knowledge or specific sales goals

  • Improved marketing and digital media presence of wine-related programs

#CannedWineWednesday

My weekly #CannedWineWednesday series on Instagram Live is all about celebrating canned wine and busting myths and stigmas associated with this packaging. I host episodes on Wednesdays at 5pm PT / 8pm ET, and bring in a different wine account to join as my guest host each week. After the live recording wraps, I save the episode into the IGTV section of my profile as part of a series, making sure the host and associated brand(s) are tagged for maximum exposure.

I have successfully built #CannedWineWednesday to be a reliable source for canned wine reviews and recommendations, and I am honest in my impressions of canned wines featured on this series. I aim to amplify the stories of canned wine producers, highlight the sustainability aluminum cans bring to the wine industry, and showcase the quality of wine that exists across the ever-growing list of canned wine producers.

Great Minds Drink Alike

In this series, I celebrate small production wineries, women and minorities in wine, lesser known careers in the wine industry, and wine-related small businesses.

Episodes are casual conversations (think: a wine talk show) with pre-drafted questions built in to keep conversation flowing. I ask guests for their input, so we can highlight their business, current promotions they’re running, or upcoming events or projects our audience can get excited about and help support.

This series is about storytelling. So much of the wine industry is shared on a need-to-know basis, and my goal is to flip the script. I want to make wine more accessible for all, and to celebrate the people creating change and innovating the industry.

The Wine Pro & The Wino Podcast

The Wine Pro & The Wino is hosted by Brielle Buckler and Michelle Matos, a duo of wine enthusiasts who are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to wine knowledge. Brielle, our Wine Pro, is a wine educator who's quick with a wine pun and loves a big ol' glass of White Pinot Noir (yes, that's a thing!) Michelle, the Wino, is your everyday wine lover who knows the difference between red & white wine ;) , and can't wait to open up a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon after a long day.

Come say Chardonn-hey! and join us on this journey!

case studies

Maker wine

To celebrate the release of the award-winning 2021 Handley Cellars Anderson Valley Chardonnay, I met with Maker Wine Co-Founder Sarah Hoffman to capture my raw reactions to this new-to-me wine in a can. We hosted an epsiode of #CannedWineWednesday, recorded content that was later edited into a reel, and shared this static post highlighting the artwork of the newest can label.

Gusto Nostro

The Italian stainless steel wine glass producer wanted to make a splash in the American market and highlight its multi-colored offerings. Showcasing their black glasses, I highlighted the benefits of blind tasting in studying for wine education exams and for general wine knowledge.

Coravin

In celebration of March Madness, I partnered with Coravin to create a March Wine Madness bracket, selecting sub-$20 wines from the then-current Total wine 20 under $20 list. Each day of March represented another matchup as followers created brackets of their own to predict the winner and share their thoughts along the way. The winner of the bracket challenge was sent a Coravin Timeless system.

Broadside

Broadside wine wanted to amplify reach with its millennial market, and sent a variety of SKUs for me to enjoy and provide my honest reviews about. I shared the wines with friends as we traveled the country on an extended roadtrip, and shared photos and stories that captured Broadside being enjoyed in real life — and not only in staged photography — to demonstrate this crowd-pleasing lineup has found a place on my personal wine rack.
